Nice is set to become the hub of gastronomy and hospitality from 1 to 3 February 2026, with the 32nd edition of AGECOTEL at the Palais des Expositions. Recognized as the leading CHR trade show in the Mediterranean, AGECOTEL brings together over 130 exhibitors and 250 brands offering professional equipment, culinary products, technological solutions, furnishings, design and tableware.

Organized by NICEXPO, the event targets restaurateurs, hoteliers, artisans, collective catering professionals, students, and trainers. It provides an opportunity for exchange, professional development, and networking, reinforcing its strategic importance for the Alpes-Maritimes region, where the CHR sector represents around 80% of tourism revenue and employs 39,000 people across 7,000 establishments.

For the second consecutive year, legendary chef Jacques Maximin, MOF 1979 and Vice-President of the Meilleurs Ouvriers de France – Cuisine, will serve as Honorary President. He will also present a Signature Menu at La Table de Jeanne, the restaurant of Lycée Jeanne et Paul Augier.

AGECOTEL 2026 will feature eight competitions and live demonstrations, including new contests such as the Trophée Masse (foie gras) and the Trophée Wine Up (sommelier competition). Renowned culinary figures including Mercotte, Joël Garault, and Philippe Joannes are expected to participate in workshops, demonstrations, and professional exchanges.

Marc Ippolito, President of NICEXPO, highlighted that the show continues to evolve to meet new challenges, including sustainability, cost management, and regulatory developments. Managing Director Thomas Gheerbrant emphasized strengthening the event’s international dimension, particularly with a focus on Italy.

AGECOTEL 2026 promises three days of innovation, expertise, and inspiration, solidifying Nice’s status as a key destination for culinary excellence and hospitality innovation.
