Monaco / Nice – British low-cost carrier easyJet has announced a new direct route linking Nice Côte d’Azur Airport with Funchal, Madeira, starting 6 June 2026. The service marks the first nonstop connection between the French Riviera and the Portuguese archipelago, eliminating the need for stopovers.
Operating twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays, the route is designed to serve both summer holidaymakers and short-break travellers. Tickets are already on sale, with introductory one-way fares from approximately €40, subject to availability.
The addition strengthens Nice Airport’s summer network and enhances long-haul leisure options for travellers from Monaco and the wider Côte d’Azur, combining Atlantic island scenery with easy Mediterranean access.
