The Monaco Aces are set to return for the 2026 Longines Global Champions League season with a line-up blending championship pedigree and international experience. The team’s roster features a mix of seasoned competitors and emerging talent, all prepared to perform under pressure.
Leading the team is Olympic medallist Peder Fredricson, whose consistency and composure make him a central figure in the Aces’ campaign. France’s Gregory Cottard brings precise execution and reliability, while Brazil’s Yuri Mansur adds speed and a competitive edge.
Portugal’s Duarte Seabra contributes versatility and international experience, complemented by Spain’s Mariano Martinez Bastida, whose resilience and consistency deepen the squad’s strength. Rounding out the roster is Monaco’s own Íñigo López de la Osa Franco, injecting youthful energy and representing local pride.
For 2026, López de la Osa Franco has been confirmed as the Monaco Aces’ Under-25 rider, marking a key step in his development at the highest level of show jumping. After gaining experience in 2025 with Stockholm Hearts and competing at venues including Doha, Mexico City, Madrid, Cannes, Monaco, Valkenswaard, Vienna, and Rome, he joins the Principality’s team fully prepared for the challenges ahead.
Born in Monaco to an Italian mother and Spanish father, López de la Osa Franco has represented Monaco internationally since the age of 17. He trains under former world number one Simon Delestre and is targeting a breakthrough year, including becoming Monaco’s first competitor at a World Show Jumping Championship at Aachen, Germany.
“Joining the Monaco Aces for the 2026 Longines Global Champions League is a tremendous honor,” said López de la Osa Franco. “Representing my home Principality at this level motivates me to continue improving, especially as I prepare for the World Championship in Aachen.”
The Monaco Aces enter the 2026 season with elite experience, international depth, and tactical focus, aiming to make a strong impact in both team standings and the broader competitive calendar.
