The iconic Basilique Notre-Dame-de-l’Assomption will once again serve as the breathtaking setting for L’Odyssée Céleste, a new immersive 360° video-mapping and live orchestral experience that promises to be one of the season’s most remarkable cultural highlights.

This neo-Gothic masterpiece in the heart of Nice becomes the canvas for a fully renewed artistic journey. While the basilica remains the stage, the narrative, musical composition, and visual storytelling have been completely reinvented. Light, sound, and architecture merge into a powerful sensory experience that transforms the historic monument into a living work of art.

From the very first moment, visitors are transported through centuries of history. A narrator guides the audience on a journey through time, revealing the architectural secrets and defining moments of the basilica. The heart of the show is an impressive 360-degree video-mapping projection that envelops the entire interior, turning walls and vaulted ceilings into a monumental, moving fresco.

Specially composed for this new edition by Samuel Sené and Guillaume Coignard, the original score elevates the experience to new heights. Accompanied by the voices of leading regional choristers, the music fills the grand nave with emotion and depth, creating a symphonic dialogue between heritage and innovation.
