Monaco Hosts MONEYVAL Evaluator Training as New Assessment Cycle Begins

Monaco has hosted a week-long MONEYVAL evaluator training session from 16 to 20 March 2026, bringing together nearly 40 delegates from 21 countries.

The training, organised by the Council of Europe’s MONEYVAL Committee, is part of the sixth cycle of mutual evaluations assessing anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing frameworks across member states.

Participants took part in a combination of theoretical sessions and practical workshops, preparing them to conduct future country evaluations under updated international standards.

The initiative reflects Monaco’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its financial crime prevention framework and aligning with global regulatory expectations.

By hosting the training, Monaco reinforces its role in international cooperation efforts and demonstrates its commitment to maintaining transparency and integrity within its financial system.
