Summary

Monaco’s 30th Business Creation Competition under the High Patronage of Prince Albert II awarded top honours to AI construction platform Radio Chantier, alongside recognition for sustainable energy and circular economy ventures, marking three decades of support for young entrepreneurs in the Principality.

An artificial intelligence driven construction management platform, Radio Chantier, has won the top prize at Monaco’s 30th annual Business Creation Competition, receiving €40,000 in the landmark anniversary edition of the event.

Founded by Cyril Cros and Alexandre Mattelon, Radio Chantier uses AI to integrate on site decision making with overall project management, enhancing efficiency in construction operations. The award, presented as the Government Prize, was conferred during a ceremony on 3 December at the Auditorium Rainier III.

The awards evening, organised by the Junior Chamber of Commerce Monaco (JCI Monaco) under the High Patronage of Prince Albert II, marked three decades of supporting young entrepreneurs establishing businesses in the Principality.

Sustainable energy and circular economy ventures were also recognised. DataGreen, a sustainable energy initiative led by Julien Choukroun, claimed second place and the JCI Monaco Prize of €21,000. The company has developed a process to capture and reuse energy from data centres, addressing the environmental impact of digital infrastructure.

The third major award, the Athos Partners Prize of €10,000, went to Meuble Monaco, represented by Isobel Ridley. The venture operates an online resale platform allowing Monaco residents to manage and recycle furniture efficiently, offering a practical solution to resource management in the Principality.

ClickMeal received the Jury’s Special Award for its workplace dining innovation. Founded by Alexia Montero and Guillaume Delachet, the company has introduced connected refrigerators transforming offices into modern food service points, providing local and economical meal solutions tailored to businesses.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary, JCI Monaco introduced new awards recognising past winners. DITO, A Domicile Monaco and Carlo were honoured for their continued contribution to Monaco’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, representing three decades of the competition’s history.

All winners gain access to the Success Box, a support programme from competition partners including Monaco Telecom, KPMG, Monaco Economic Board and Monaco Boost, providing expert guidance to navigate the first year of operations in Monaco.

Since 1995, the Business Creation Competition has supported entrepreneurs aged 18 to 40 seeking to establish ventures in the Principality. Backed by the Princely Government and technical collaboration from the Economic Development Department, the competition has become a recognised launchpad for young businesses. Previous winners include WES, Carlo App, Athos Partners, Papyrus, Bookvidéo, Le Teashop and My Marketing Xperience.

Future candidates must be aged 18 to 40, hold at least 33 per cent of their company’s capital, act as manager or future manager, comply with Monaco regulations, and plan to establish the business in the Principality.
