Europa-Park

Press Release Details

Summary

Europa-Park will unveil a Monaco-themed district on 28 March 2026, recreating elements of the Monte-Carlo Casino, Port Hercule, and the Monaco Grand Prix within Germany’s largest theme park, highlighting the Principality’s cultural and sporting heritage.

Europa-Park, one of Europe’s most visited theme parks, is preparing to open a Monaco-themed district in spring 2026, bringing Monaco’s architecture, motorsport heritage, and marina-inspired atmosphere to southwest Germany.

The district will become Europa-Park’s 18th themed country zone and will include references to the Monte-Carlo Casino, Port Hercule, and the Monaco Grand Prix. The area will be centred around the Silver Star Hall, part of the park’s Silver Star roller coaster complex, which will feature exhibition spaces and immersive elements inspired by Monaco’s street circuit and luxury lifestyle. A large reproduction of Monaco’s coat of arms will mark the entrance to the zone.

As part of Europa-Park’s 50th anniversary programme, visitors can preview the new district at a dedicated exhibition and preview centre inside the Silver Star Hall, which presents the history of the park alongside a first glimpse of Monaco-themed attractions.

The initiative builds on an ongoing relationship between Monaco and Europa-Park. Prince Albert II has visited the park with his family on several occasions, and educational components in the new district will reflect the Prince’s long-standing commitment to marine conservation and sustainability.

The Monaco-themed quarter is scheduled to open 28 March 2026, aligning with Europa-Park’s spring season, offering visitors a European cultural experience inspired by the Principality’s glamour, elegance, and sporting traditions.
