Fusion of Monaco Info and TV Monaco: Government to Provide Updates by End of January 2026

The Government of Monaco has confirmed that proposals regarding the planned merger of Monaco Info and TV Monaco will be delivered by the end of January 2026, following a detailed review of the two broadcasters.

The fusion of the channels was initially scheduled for 1 September 2025, but the process has been delayed as authorities assessed the resources, technical capabilities, and human resources of both entities.

To inform the merger process, the government commissioned an independent media expert in June 2025 to conduct a full evaluation and propose restructuring scenarios. The resulting report was submitted in early November 2025, providing recommendations for an operational and strategic plan for the merger.

The Minister of State, Christophe Mirmand, stated that the government, together with the directors of Monaco Info and TV Monaco, is finalising proposals that will respect the work and contributions of both teams. These proposals are expected to be communicated by the end of January 2026.

This merger is part of broader efforts to streamline media operations in Monaco, strengthen content production, and enhance the reach of public broadcasting for residents and visitors alike.
