Monaco launches Historical Architecture Photo Contest for students

The Department of Cultural Affairs in Monaco has announced a new photography contest aimed at students aged 11–25, designed to highlight and celebrate the Principality’s architectural heritage. Participants are encouraged to explore Monaco’s historic buildings, monuments, and urban landscapes, capturing images that reflect the unique blend of classical and modern architecture across the city.

The contest will culminate in a public exhibition of selected works, allowing young photographers to showcase their talent and gain recognition. Winners will receive prizes, certificates, and opportunities to participate in cultural workshops and mentorship sessions.

Through this initiative, Monaco aims to foster appreciation of its cultural and architectural history, encourage creative expression among youth, and inspire the next generation to actively engage with the city’s heritage.
