Monaco Launches New Electronic Music Festival: Mona in Wonderland

A brand-new electronic music festival is set to debut in Monaco this spring. On 30 May 2026, Mona in Wonderland will transform the iconic Chapiteau de Fontvieille into a spectacular, immersive celebration of electronic sound and visual fantasy.

Inspired by the world of Alice in Wonderland — reimagined with a distinct Monaco twist — the festival promises a fully themed experience where music, performance art and lighting design blend into one magical evening. Organised by Effervescence in collaboration with AEG Presents, the internationally renowned promoter behind major events such as Rock en Seine, the event aims to establish Monaco as a key destination for large-scale electronic music experiences.

Strategically scheduled between the Cannes Film Festival and the Monaco Grand Prix, the festival offers visitors the opportunity to extend their stay in the region and combine multiple world-class events within a single trip.

According to organisers, the Wonderland theme will be fully integrated throughout the evening — from stage design and artistic performances to immersive light installations. Guests can expect a dreamlike atmosphere designed to transport audiences into a surreal universe of sound and spectacle.

The inaugural line-up features four artists. Headlining the event is Miss Monique, one of the fastest-rising names in progressive electronic music and one of the few prominent female DJs in the international scene. She will be joined by Worakls, globally recognised for blending classical influences with powerful electronic compositions. Two additional artists will be announced shortly, including a potential Monaco-based performer.

Tickets are now available via the Shotgun platform. Standard admission is priced at €45.50, while VIP access — offering premium viewing areas close to the artists — is available for €111.50.

Mona in Wonderland marks a bold new chapter in Monaco’s cultural calendar, reinforcing the Principality’s growing reputation as a dynamic hub for contemporary music and international events.
