The Monaco Sportsboat Winter Series continues to set the standard for winter sailing in the Mediterranean. Hosted at the Yacht Club de Monaco, the monthly programme of regattas and training weekends welcomes top sailors in one-design boats from across Europe.
Originally initiated in the Melges 20 class in 2013 by Valentin Zavadnikov and later including J/70s, the series offers a proven winter training base for teams preparing for the upcoming season’s major events. Each month, sailors benefit from competitive racing, coaching, and networking opportunities in a format that combines professional training with the social and sporting spirit of Monaco.
The series has grown into a premier winter destination for sailing, with over 350 participants annually, showcasing the Principality as a hub for high-level sportsboat preparation and international competition.
