Monaco strengthens economic ties with Saudi Arabia through business mission to Jeddah

Monaco has advanced its international economic outreach through a business delegation visit to Jeddah, aimed at strengthening commercial cooperation with Saudi Arabian partners.

The mission, coordinated by the Monaco Economic Board, brought together business leaders and institutional representatives to explore long-term opportunities in sectors including yachting, finance, technology, tourism and the luxury industry. The delegation was led by Ludmilla Raconnat Le Goff, Head of Monaco’s Attractiveness Unit, who highlighted the strategic alignment between Monaco’s expertise and Saudi Arabia’s ongoing economic diversification.

Discussions focused on potential joint ventures and investment partnerships, with both sides expressing interest in sustainable, high-value projects. Monaco positioned itself as a flexible and stable partner, offering specialised know-how and access to international business networks.

The visit also served to promote Monaco’s economic model, emphasising its regulatory stability, international outlook and capacity to support cross-border investment initiatives. Participants confirmed a shared intention to continue dialogue and develop concrete cooperation projects.

The Jeddah mission marks a further step in Monaco’s broader strategy to expand its economic presence in the Gulf region and reinforce international partnerships.
