Press Release Details

Summary

The 57th International Bouquet Competition returns to Monaco in May 2026 with a celestial theme celebrating global floral artistry.

The Garden Club of Monaco has officially announced the 57th International Bouquet Competition, set to take place on May 9–10, 2026, at the prestigious Yacht Club de Monaco.

This year’s theme, “Celestial,” invites participants from around the world—both amateurs and professionals—to interpret cosmic elements through floral design. Categories include imaginative concepts such as “The Storm,” “Lunar Luminescence,” “Dinner Under the Stars,” and “The Northern Lights,” encouraging artistic expression inspired by the universe.

Held under the High Patronage of Prince Albert II and guided by the Princess of Hanover, the competition continues a longstanding tradition established by Princess Grace of Monaco, who founded the Garden Club in 1968.

An international jury composed of floral experts, artists, and cultural figures will award distinctions including Gold, Silver, and Bronze badges, as well as the prestigious Princess Grace of Monaco Prize.

In parallel, the “Monaco in Bloom” initiative will transform the Principality’s streets and boutiques into vibrant floral displays, creating an immersive citywide celebration of nature and creativity.

Open to the public free of charge, the event offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience world-class floral artistry in one of Monaco’s most iconic venues.
