The fourth season of the hit television series The White Lotus is reportedly set to be filmed in Saint-Tropez and Paris, bringing international attention to the French Riviera as one of the show’s primary backdrops.
According to industry reports, the iconic Château de la Messardière in Saint-Tropez has been selected as the main filming location for the fictional luxury hotel featured in the series. The five-star property, part of the Airelles Collection, is set within 13 hectares of landscaped grounds overlooking the Mediterranean and is regarded as one of the flagship hotels of the Côte d’Azur.
Filming is scheduled to take place from April through October 2026, marking one of the longest production periods in the show’s history. Additional locations across the Riviera are expected to be used, with reports suggesting that major regional events, including the Cannes Film Festival, may also feature in the series.
The production is expected to further strengthen the Riviera’s profile as a global destination for luxury tourism and international film and television projects, continuing the trend seen in previous White Lotus filming locations worldwide.
Château de la Messardière is scheduled to reopen for the season on April 24, 2026, ahead of the start of filming.
