Automobile Club of Monaco Suspends 2026 E-Rallye Monte-Carlo
The electric rally originally scheduled for October has been suspended as the organisers reassess future energy and technology developments.
MONACO — October 3, 2026 — The Automobile Club of Monaco has announced the suspension of the 2026 E-Rallye Monte-Carlo.
The 100% electric event had been scheduled from October 14 to 17 as part of the Bridgestone FIA ecoRally Cup calendar.
The organising committee said the decision follows a strategic and organisational reassessment of the event and its future direction.
The Automobile Club of Monaco explained that it intends to wait for further developments in new energy solutions and alternative technologies before bringing the competition back to its calendar.
The E-Rallye Monte-Carlo has been associated with electric rallying since the 1990s and has played a role in promoting alternative-energy technology in motorsport.
The suspension concerns the 2026 edition, while the organisation continues to evaluate the future of the event.
