MONACO — October 5, 2026 — Monaco is strengthening its cooperation with the European Patent Office as the Principality continues to develop its innovation and digital economy infrastructure. EPO President António Campinos met with Monaco's Minister of Finance and Economy Frédéric Cottalorda and senior officials on September 28 to discuss the longstanding relationship between the two institutions. The discussions focused on innovation, digital transformation and improving access to intellectual-property services for businesses and researchers in Monaco. Particular attention was given to modernising the Principality's industrial-property system and expanding the use of digital services.
