Mireille Martini Appointed Commissioner General of Monaco Pavilion for Expo 2027

MONACO — September 25, 2026 — The Principality of Monaco has appointed Mireille Martini as Commissioner General of its pavilion for Expo 2027 Belgrade. The specialised exhibition will take place from May 15 to August 15, 2027, under the theme “Play for Humanity: Sport and Music for All.” Martini brings extensive diplomatic experience to the position, having served as Monaco's Ambassador to Russia and later as Ambassador to Kazakhstan. She previously served as Commissioner General of the Monaco Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai, giving her experience in coordinating Monaco's international representation at a major global exhibition. The appointment begins preparations for Monaco's participation in the Belgrade exhibition, where the Principality will present its presence and activities to an international audience. Expo 2027 Belgrade will focus on the relationship between sport, music and human development and will bring participating countries together in Serbia.
