Monaco Hosts Inaugural "Riviera Haute Couture Week" Showcasing Emerging Designers

MONACO — November 14, 2026 — Monaco will host the inaugural "Riviera Haute Couture Week" from May 12–16, 2027, bringing together emerging and established designers from across the Mediterranean for five days of runway shows, showroom presentations, and exclusive events. The event, organized in partnership with the Monaco Chamber of Commerce, will feature collections from 20 designers selected through a competitive application process. Highlights include a grand opening gala at the Sporting Monte-Carlo and a public exhibition at the Grimaldi Forum. A key focus of the week will be sustainability in luxury fashion, with a dedicated panel discussion on ethical sourcing, circular design, and the future of couture. "Monaco has always been synonymous with elegance and luxury," said the event's creative director. "Riviera Haute Couture Week will celebrate that heritage while championing the next generation of design talent." Tickets and industry accreditation will be available from February 2027.
