Monaco Launches Free Public Wi-Fi Network Across All Districts
The "Monaco Connect" initiative aims to provide seamless, high-speed internet access to residents and visitors.

MONACO — November 17, 2026 — The Monaco Government has launched "Monaco Connect," a free public Wi-Fi network now available across all districts of the Principality, including major public squares, gardens, beaches, and transport hubs.
The network offers high-speed, secure internet access to both residents and visitors, with a simple one-time registration process. Coverage includes Monte Carlo, La Condamine, Fontvieille, Larvotto, and the Port Hercule area.
Monaco Connect forms part of the Principality's "Smart Principality" digital strategy, which aims to enhance connectivity, improve public services, and support the growing number of remote workers and digital nomads choosing Monaco as a base.
"We want Monaco to be one of the most connected places in Europe," said the Minister of Digital Affairs. "Monaco Connect is a major step toward that goal."
The network will be expanded to include indoor public spaces such as libraries and cultural centers by mid-2027.
