Monaco Launches "MonacoBoost" Initiative to Support Local Startups
The new government-backed programme aims to provide funding and mentorship for innovative businesses in the Principality.

MONACO — October 12, 2026 — The Monaco Economic Board (MEB) has announced the launch of "MonacoBoost," a new initiative designed to accelerate the growth of local startups and attract international entrepreneurs to the Principality.
The programme, officially launched on October 10, will provide selected startups with access to seed funding, subsidized office space in the Fontvieille district, and mentorship from established Monaco business leaders.
MonacoBoost focuses on three key sectors: financial technology, sustainable marine technology, and luxury hospitality innovation. The initiative aims to diversify Monaco's economy beyond its traditional strengths in banking and real estate.
Participating startups will also receive guidance on navigating Monaco's regulatory framework and opportunities to pitch to global investors during the Monaco Ocean Week and other major events.
Applications for the first cohort are open until November 30, 2026, with the programme commencing in January 2027.
