Monaco Launches New Scholarship Programme for International Students

MONACO — October 28, 2026 — The Monaco Government has announced the launch of the "Bourse d'Excellence Monaco," a new scholarship programme designed to attract top international students to the Principality's educational institutions. Starting in the 2027-2028 academic year, the programme will award 50 full scholarships annually to students from Mediterranean countries, covering tuition fees, living stipends, and accommodation. The scholarships will support studies in fields including international relations, marine biology, sustainable finance, and hospitality management at institutions such as the International University of Monaco and the Monaco Business School. "We believe that investing in education is investing in the future of the Mediterranean region," said the Minister of Education. "This programme will foster cross-cultural exchange and strengthen Monaco's position as a hub of academic excellence." Applications for the first cohort will open in February 2027.
