MONACO — November 3, 2026 — Monaco has been confirmed as the host city for the 2027 European Youth Sailing Championship, scheduled to take place in Port Hercule from July 5–12, 2027.
The event will welcome more than 300 young sailors aged 12–18 from 25 European countries, competing in Optimist, ILCA 4, and 29er classes. The championship will be organized by the Monaco Yacht Club in partnership with the European Sailing Federation.
A public village on the Quai Albert I will offer free sailing simulators, maritime workshops, and meet-and-greet sessions with competitors. The event aims to inspire a new generation of sailors and promote Monaco as a hub for youth maritime sports.
"We are honored to host Europe's best young sailors," said a spokesperson for the Monaco Yacht Club. "This championship reflects our commitment to the future of sailing."
Volunteer registration and spectator information will be available in February 2027.
