Monaco Tourism Board Launches "Slow Riviera" Campaign to Promote Off-Season Travel

The new campaign highlights autumn and winter experiences, from culinary tours to coastal hiking trails.

MONACO — November 20, 2026 — The Monaco Tourism Board has unveiled "Slow Riviera," a new promotional campaign designed to attract visitors during the quieter autumn and winter months by highlighting the Principality's cultural, culinary, and outdoor offerings. The campaign showcases a range of off-season experiences, including guided culinary tours of Monaco's historic markets, coastal hiking trails along the Riviera, wellness retreats at luxury spas, and exclusive access to museums and cultural sites without the summer crowds. Partnering with regional tourism boards in France and Italy, the initiative also promotes cross-border itineraries that combine Monaco with nearby destinations such as Menton, Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, and the Ligurian coast. "Monaco is a year-round destination with so much to offer beyond the summer season," said the Director of Tourism. "Slow Riviera invites visitors to discover a more relaxed, authentic side of the Principality." The campaign will run across digital platforms, travel media, and international tourism fairs throughout 2027.
