Monte-Carlo Rally Reveals Route for 2027 World Rally Championship Opener

The 95th Rallye Monte-Carlo will begin in Monaco on January 21 before four days of competition.


MONACO — September 11, 2026 — The Automobile Club de Monaco has unveiled the route for the 95th Rallye Monte-Carlo, which will open the 2027 FIA World Rally Championship from January 21 to 24. The official start will take place in Monaco on January 21 before competitors travel towards Gap and surrounding regions for four days of demanding competition. The 2027 edition will feature 18 timed special stages covering more than 353 kilometres. Several historic stages will return to the route, including the Col de Braus, Clumanc and Col du Pertuis. The rally will conclude in Monaco on January 24, with the final celebrations and awards ceremony scheduled at Port Hercule. The 2027 event will also mark the arrival of the new WRC27 generation of rally cars, adding another technological milestone to one of the world's best-known motorsport events.
