Team Monaco Claims First E1 Electric Powerboat Championship Podium

MONACO — September 17, 2026 — Team Monaco has secured its first podium in the E1 electric powerboat championship after finishing second in Luanda. The result came during the team’s fifth race of its debut season and followed a difficult opening race in which pilots Oban Duncan and Maxime Nocher suffered damage to one of the boat’s foils. The team completed repairs in approximately 30 minutes before returning to competition and fighting back through the field. Team Monaco ultimately finished second, just one second behind the winning boat. The result represents an important milestone for the Monaco-backed team as it continues its first season in the electric powerboat championship. Following the podium in Luanda, Team Monaco will turn its attention to the next championship round in Miami.
